About the Owner:

La Villita Landscaping had been a dream of mine for many years. La Villita, means “The Village”, which is what Sahuarita was for many years. I chose the name as I spent many of my childhood years on La Villita Rd.

I knew that I would eventually become a business owner, find a way to keep my roots, and give back to the community that I grew up in. I have lived in Sahuarita for the better part of 26 years, and have had the opportunity to grow with the town during its most extensive changes. I was always fascinated by the “Back in the day” stories, and how almost every single once would begin or end with “I remember planting that tree” or with ” When I was a boy we would work in those fields over there.” As I drive down the boulevard I remember those stories. I notice the beauty of the trees, flowers, and our great views. I wanted to be able to tell my son when he grew up “Hey, let me tell you the story of when I planted THAT TREE.” I can only hope that he would have the same appreciation as I do in the story that each piece of landscape that was put in by nature, and with a little help from mankind. I believe in hard work, dedication, respect, trust, and the importance of a dollar to every person.
